The Big Zoo Quiz

 As the passing week was a Nature week, on Friday all the children took part in our Big Zoo Quiz. They worked in a multi-level groups and had to prepare a short presentation about their zoo, which included some background facts they found online, a poster representing the zoo, a chant and a mascot. Each team was awarded points for the presentation, and then the real competition started! All the Zoo groups competed against each other in a number of language challenges, which included grammar, vocabulary, writing and speaking tasks!

This activity not only allows the children to practise their English in a meaningful ways, but also fosters cooperation and teaches the children to work together towards a common goal.
